About Style with Grace Hair and Makeup

“Hairdressing and Makeup Artistry have always been my calling. From a very young age I have always marvelled at how hairdressers can make such a difference to people’s lives. It is so much more than a job to me. It is a vocation. No day is ever the same, meeting new people and helping them feel and look beautiful is an amazing thing.”

‘I have been in this industry for over 15 years now, and I am still as in love with my job now as when I first started. I can be creative, sociable and no day is ever the same. I am an accomplished stylist and aim to provide 100% customer satisfaction with each appointment I attend. Fully qualified and NVQ trained, I have worked in some of the best salons in Brighton, including the award winning Trevor Sorbie Salon, where I carried out my apprenticeship.

Following a working period of three years with Enzo Hair and Beauty in Kemptown Village, I decided to go mobile with my skills, and have built up a happy and satisfied client base. As a result of all my collective experience, I’m well accomplished in all methods of hairdressing, ranging from elaborate up styles for special occasions to foil highlights and trims for everyday wear, and complete restyles for those of you who fancy a change.

I completed a course in Makeup Artistry, successfully obtaining my diploma, and am well trained in the application of well known and acclaimed brand, MAC Cosmetics. I also like to incorporate a lot of other reputable brands in my collection such as Benefit, By Terry, Urban Decay and many more.

I am also a fully qualified Teacher and can be found teaching hair courses for well known, award winning Academy BC Beauty Training School.

I don’t view my profession as ‘Just a Job’. I care about my work and about the clients I work with too. Being pampered should be an enjoyable experience, and not one that leaves you feeling stressed out or worried.’
